Job Description
We are seeking a Calibration Technician II to perform calibration and repair of a wide range of test and measurement equipment. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and excellent interpersonal skills. Proficiency in verbal and written communication, along with solid computer skills, is essential. The technician will work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:

Calibrate and repair electronic and mechanical test and measurement equipment

Work with various equipment types, including:
-
AC/DC Low Voltage: Multimeters, power meters, voltage calibrators, etc.

RF/Microwave: Spectrum analyzers, frequency generators, RF counters
-
Temperature & Humidity Devices: Thermometers, data loggers, environmental chambers, ovens
-
T&M Equipment Generators: Insulation testers, dielectric testers, controllers
-
Mechanical Equipment: Torque wrenches, calipers, scales, pressure gauges and controllers

Adhere to documented calibration procedures and methods

Maintain detailed and accurate records of work performed
Requirements:
-
Prior experience in calibration and repair of test and measurement equipment

Familiarity with ISO 17025 Quality Management Systems

Understanding of measurement uncertainty and ability to perform related calculations

Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and following detailed written procedures

Strong knowledge of AC/DC circuitry

Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent required
-
Commercial or military PMEL/TMDE experience is preferred

Must be able to lift and move up to 33 lbs. without assistance
